Combat within Project Patch follows a round based structure, with each participant taking a single turn (consisting of one or more actions) each before the next round begins.

Combat Structure[edit]

Initiative[edit]

When combat begins, the GM will ask each player to roll Initiative, to determine when they act within the coming combat, acting from the highest Initiative score through to the lowest.

Initiative: 1d20 plus the higher of Force or Aptitude

Taking a Turn[edit]

When your Initiative number comes up, it's your turn to take actions! Each time it's your turn to act, you receive 3 Action Points (or AP for short), which you can spend to take any of the actions you're eligible
